Institute Overview :

Mechanical Engineering Research And Development Organization (MERADO) is a regional center of the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Durgapur, a National Laboratory under Council of Scientific And Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi.

MERADO, was set up in Pune in 1967 to provide technical services to the industries located in the western region of India. Besides, the organization is providing an interface between CMERI and other MERADO centers at Ludhiana, Kochi and Chennai and also the industry for promotion and development of technologies/technical know-how developed at CMERI/MERADOs. Over the years MERADO, Pune an ISO 9001-1994 - R & D Organization, has acquired expertise and gained experience which remains the area of focus in its technical activities.
